The goal of Dino Survival is to create a single experience that encompasses prehistoric life across every geologic period. Naturally, this a colossal undertaking and right now, the team working on it is very small. Right now, we cannot provide dates for when new products will launch, but we wanted to share the vision we have for this card game.

The Cambrian Explosion will be the first stand-alone expansion for the Dino Survival card game. As of writing, the art assets are nearing completion and we’re hoping to release it late 2026. If you follow us on Instagram or Facebook, you can watch behind the scenes videos of our artist bringing these animals to life. (And we’d love your feedback on our art too)!

You may have noticed the Cambrian Explosion is not the only expansion on the roadmap. There are six other expansions we want to release as well. Right now, there are six, but the number could change. All of these expansions will be standalone products, so if you only want to play with animals from the Ice Age, or only animals that lived before the Dinosaurs, that is an option for you. They are also designed to work together. If you want to create a massive deck and play with all the cards at once, you can do that. If you want to split the game into three rounds: Paleozoic, Mesozoic, Cenozoic – you can do that too. We will share their names when development work has begun on them.

Beneath the expansion list there are also “bonus” expansions. These are listed separately since they will not be standalone products and they will be balanced around players owning all or most of the content we have available.
